Salesforce Database Customization
Salesforce Database Customization
Project details
What we need
- A Salesforce database including: a customized set of Salesforce objects, single-record editing of data and field history tracking (up to 15 object types), a customized set of views to allow table-based editing of data (up to 15 views), a customized set of reports to pull data from multiple object types (up to 15 reports)
- Migration of Organization's current database to Salesforce
- Training for designated staff member on new objects, reports and views
- “Hand-off” documentation on the object schemas and any custom code
Additional details
BoMF has an existing SF database currently used for revenue and donor management that will be further customized to capture programmatic data. This project should be able to be completed in less time than described above. The most critical assistance will be to set up users and permissions.
What we have in place
- We currently have a Salesforce administrator and operational database, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a list of fields and reports identified, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,772 , allowing us to provide housing and employment services for 10 individuals experiencing homelessness.
Back on My Feet is tracking our program data and outcomes using a clunky and out-dated database. Salesforce will transform the way our staff work, enable us to assess the impact of our program, and in turn, allow us to communicate our value to stakeholders across the country. Being able to capture, analyze, and share data will help strengthen our funding and grow the organization. This project will help Back on My Feet help more individuals experiencing homelessness move towards independence and self-sufficiency.
Project plan
Our mission
Back on My Feet (BoMF) is a national 501(c)3 charitable organization that uses running to help those experiencing homelessness change the way they see themselves so they can make real change in their lives that results in employment and independent living.
What we do
Back on My Feet’s unique program takes a holistic approach to combating homelessness. Back on My Feet does not provide food or shelter, but instead provides a community that offers coaching, resources, job training and access to employment opportunities. Back on My Feet follows a two-phase program in which Residential Members (individuals experiencing homelessness) participate for six to nine months. During the first phase of the program, Back on My Feet staff, volunteers, and fellow Members meet three times a week at 5:30 a.m. to run together as a team. Bringing these individuals together creates a positive, team-oriented atmosphere that couples high expectations for personal responsibility with the support and resources to effect meaningful change. During the second phase of the program, called Next Steps, Members are afforded access to educational and job training opportunities and work toward employment and independent housing.
