Project details

What we need
  • Document that articulates in a consistent voice key messages about the Organization’s identity, constituents, mission, and vision
  • Creation of taglines and talking points to help the Organization communicate clearly and concisely
  • Recommendations on tailoring messaging for common communication channels (e.g., website copy, printed marketing collateral, pitching verbally)
What we have in place
  • We currently have proposals and brochures outlining our language used to date, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have active MailChimp, FaceBook and Twitter accounts, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,600 , allowing us to provide 20 youth with alternative-to-incarceration programs.

CCFY's mission is to build community capacity for juvenile justice reform using a three-pronged approach that includes: Demonstration Projects, Leadership Development, and Training & Technical Assistance. We welcome the opportunity to work with a brand messaging expert to help us create a brand message and marketing strategy for CCFY that will increase individual donors and help us market our Training and TA offerings to multiple audiences.

Our mission

Community Connections for Youth (CCFY) is a Bronx-based non-profit organization whose mission is to empower grassroots faith and neighborhood organizations to develop effective community-driven alternatives-to-incarceration for youth. Responding to the crisis created by overreliance on youth incarceration, CCFY seeks to develop the power and capacity of directly affected communities to develop effective alternatives for addressing the problems of youth crime and delinquency.

What we do

In 2009, Rev. Austria incorporated CCFY as a non-profit organization to advance the vision of training and equipping community participation in the juvenile justice reform movement through a threefold approach that includes:

Leadership Development - CCFY facilitates the development of community leadership to inform the juvenile justive reform process, with a specific focus on family members, faith leaders, and grassroots community leaders.

Training & Technical Assistance - CCFY provides expert consultation to system and community stakeholders seeking to implement community capacity building projects for juvenile justice reform.

Demonstration Project - CCFY implements independently evaluated research demonstration projects to establish practical and replicable ways to build local community capacity for juvenile justice reform.
