What we need
Additional details

We will provide existing written materials and visual assets (e.g., mission statement, organization's background information, messaging guidelines, FAQs, staff bios, visual branding assets, etc.) including previous press releases and blog content on our website. We need help creating a press kit to increase earned media heading into the 2024 election cycle.

What we have in place
  • We currently have existing written materials and visual assets, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have previous press releases, mission statement, and brand kit, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,852 , allowing us to invest in our direct service work at clinics and on college campuses statewide, and strengthen our 2024 organizing efforts.

We are hoping to increase our earned media heading into the 2024 election cycle to boost awareness or reproductive rights and voter turnout in Minnesota.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager discuss Organization's goals for media coverage and agree on a detailed scope of work for press kit (e.g., what documents should be included)
  • Volunteer Manager provides background information, such as mission and vision statement, historical information about the Organization, bios of senior staff, fact sheets, relevant or recent press release, and any supplementary multimedia

Milestone 1: First Draft
  • Professional compiles relevant press kit collateral
  • Professional suggests edits to existing press kit materials, as needed
  • Volunteer Manager makes adjustments to existing materials and provides additional content, as needed

  • Professional presents final version of press kit materials in electronic format, with instructions for how to arrange printed version in a folder
