Event Concept & Plan
Event Concept & Plan
Project details
What we need
- 3-5 one hour calls with an events professional covering topics like concept, general structure, logistics, and target attendees
- A written summary of topics discussed, including event concept and theme, general plan, estimated budget (optional), and articulated goals (feel free to use this template as a starting point)
- Note: This project does not include on-site event coordination or support on the day of the event
Additional details
We are attempting to put together the first of what we hope will be our organizations annual fundraising event. The concept is an art auction & raffle we've dubbed "Colors of Compassion".
The date is open, I have a few venues in mind, and we have local artists already signed up and eager to participate.
This call for assistance comes from my inexperience with putting together a proper fundraiser, presenting the concept to the board, and having the appropriate means for future success.
What we have in place
- We currently have local artists that have signed up to participate, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have community connections, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to fund our event, pay for caterers, purchase necessary materials & promotional pieces, and set ourselves up for success.
Most of the nonprofits in our area have some sort of annual fundraiser, and we have brainstormed extensively about an original concept for our annual fundraiser.
The economy and its recent fluctuations have taken quite the toll on nonprofits across the country, and our organization has seen financial hard times recently. We hope that, with the initiation and establishment of this fundraiser, we'll have some reliable revenue to count on annually.
Additionally, we're uplifting local artists!
