Organizational Strategy Call
Call details
What we'd like to talk about
We'd like an outside facilitator/consultant to help guide our upcoming Strategic Planning process. We hope to hear from a Hispanic consultant or two because some of the work is culturally dependent.
Additional context
More info about us:
* 1 FT staffer + 7 PT
* ~$500K in total revenue (36% direct distribution to families, 64% for operations)
* We currently have a 3-person management-by-committee structure (2 founders and 1 long-time person) that we'll need to examine because after 10+ years all are feeling the need for transition/change
Initial questions:
* We think that we want a process that includes our 7 Board members and staff members and maybe a few other key stakeholders... does that sound practical or unwieldy?
* What time frame (very rough range) is likely required to see such a process through?
* How do people usually charge for such projects, e.g. an hourly rate or project flat fee or some other method? How is total cost usually estimated going in?
* What skills/background should we prioritize in choosing a facilitator/expert?
"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.
