What we need
  • An Excel spreadsheet custom-built specifically for the Organization's finances
  • Training on how to use the spreadsheet to understand the current financial situation and predict future states (e.g., plan for budget increases or decreases, hiring, and other key drivers)
Additional details

Need support getting an accurate picture to project our finances, help understand how much money needs to be raised this fiscal year vs. next, etc.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a bookkeeper, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have Quickbooks and other software, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $14,474 , allowing us to fund more patients in need

Our ability to help patients is dependent on continuing to have a strong fundraising plan, and in order to predict what that needs to look like, we need to be able to more accurately get a picture of our financial needs.

  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with current accounting needs and practices, chart of accounts or operating budget, and financial statements currently being generated (e.g,. statement of financial position, statement of activities, or statement of cash flows)
  • Optional: If you are concerned about the sensitive nature of your financial data, have a volunteer sign a non-disclosure agreement

Milestone 1: Analysis & Recommendations
  • Professional analyzes current accounting system, and recommends improvements to data gathering, reporting, or implementation of new bookkeeping software
  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback which Professional incorporates

  • Professional helps the Volunteer Manager to implement recommendations

  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager on how to fully implement recommendations to ensure sustainability

The Reproductive Freedom Fund of New Hampshire removes financial barriers for anyone receiving abortion care in or from New Hampshire through direct service funding and movement building guided by patient need. Since launching in 2021, Repro Fund NH has served over 450 Granite Staters and funded over $300,000 in abortion care.
