Flexible Marketing Strategy Support
Flexible Marketing Strategy Support
Project details
What we need
- Ongoing marketing strategy support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
- Support may include: defining your marketing goals, determining the right marketing channels, messaging your program, branding, or defining your target audience
- Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details
Hello, I work for a nonprofit that focuses on community composting. The need to connect with our community is at the heart of what we do and I would like more info on how to engage the community with different marketing strategies and potentially teach others about these strategies as well. We serve groups across California, with an emphasis on 7 regions. We are currently looking to build out a newsletter and look at other marketing strategies as well.
What we have in place
- We currently have social media accounts, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have ., and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to pay site operators
We are hoping to extend some of this knowledge to our site operators throughout the region to help them expand their reach and further connect with their community.
Project plan
Our mission
We come together as the California Alliance for Community Composting to strengthen, protect, and develop small- and medium-scale community composting projects across the state, and to support and empower composters alongside the communities they serve.
We believe sustainable community composting hubs that inspire joy and lead to lasting transformation of unhealthy and unjust systems are characterized by organizational cultures of trust and the open commitment to bigger-than-self-ideas that unify, such as social justice, community well-being, environmental health, and living in a world of beauty.

Extensive and Diverse Education, Training & Technical Assistance
