What we need
- Tightly-written web copy of up to to eight pages of 200-300 words each
- The opportunity to work closely with an experienced, SEO literate copywriter
What we have in place
- We currently have a staging site and web copy written, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have staff that can make changes to the site, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,073 , allowing us to provide 30 women with full scholarships to our Piko Pals program.
We are currently migrating our old site (hmhb-hawaii.org) to a new platform (WordPress) and have the new one on a staging site. We are migrating much of the old copy, but wanted to take this chance to "freshen" it up and make it livelier, most applicable to our audience/demographic, and absolutely optimized for SEO.
We also have a Google AdWords account (and Google Grant, so the ads are free to us), so we can share that information, as well.

Our mission
We are a local nonprofit agency that is committed to improving Hawaii's maternal, child and family health through collaborative efforts in public education, advocacy and partner development.
What we do
Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition of Hawaii is committed to ensuring women and families receive access to resources and information before, during and after pregnancy. We provide programs, direct resources, and access to services that help Hawaii's women achieve a healthy, safe pregnancy and nurture a healthy baby.
Annually, we reach over 10,000 women and families through our MothersCare phone line, our online resource directory, our Text4Baby health text messaging service and our direct services. We also serve families through our Piko Pals 12-week new parent support program, our Cribs for Kids program for high-risk families, and our maternal counseling services.
We have been operating statewide in Hawaii for over 25 years and have strong partnerships throughout the public and private sectors.
