Project details

What we need
  • Creation of an E-Newsletter from scratch, or an overhaul of an existing one
  • Training on how to input content into a template
Additional details

Advice on how to keep the e-newsletter content engaging and inspire action.

What we have in place
  • We currently have an account with MailChimp, and we have 1400 email addresses on our list. We have a few generic templates we've been using, and we've been sending out monthly emails for the past few years. These should give you an idea of the types of information we share. We also have a collection of photographs on Flickr that are very easily accessed.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to equip two new volunteers to conduct monthly water quality monitoring at popular swimming spots on the Satilla River.

The importance of connecting with our members via email is vital to distributing timely information and updates, and to encourage our members to participate in urgent action alerts. With frequently flooded inboxes, we need help making our emails stand out, and at the same time keeping them easy to read and understand. Connecting with our members is key to moving forward with our environmental protection efforts in southern Georgia.
