Project details

What we need
  • Analysis of the Organization’s current needs, long-term goals, programs, competitive standing and resources
  • Recommendations for an appropriate course of action to reach the desired objectives, including allocation of resources and how to measure success
  • Plan outlining the resources and steps required to reach short- and long-term goals
Additional details

We are in year two of a three-year strategic plan. I would like to have someone review our current plan, and help us come up with our next plan including diversification of funding sources.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a strategic plan as well as results for the first year., which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a 2019 Board Chair that has a knack for looking ahead, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $12,550 , allowing us to use our operating dollars to add beds to help people experiencing homelessness now.

We are a small organization that just hired a new person. We have a good base of support; however, with additional staffing resources, we would like to focus more on long-term goals and objectives. We have increased our impact every year since 2015, and are in the position to select future projects that achieve the mission in a more strategic way.

Our mission

HomeAid Atlanta Builds New Lives for homeless families and individuals through housing and community outreach.

What we do

Through the generosity of metro Atlanta's home builders, building material suppliers, trades, financial institutions, sponsors, and the public, HomeAid Atlanta has built or renovated 31 facilities for organizations serving Atlanta's homeless population. Past projects include transitional housing facilities, one free-of-charge health clinic for the homeless, and one teen center, with additional projects currently in development. The result--more than 750 people experiencing homelessness are provided housing each year in metro Atlanta through HomeAid Atlanta-built housing facilities.
HomeAid Atlanta serves as a "bridge," connecting builders, trades, and suppliers with local organizations serving Atlanta's homeless families and individuals. Working with HomeAid-recruited volunteer builder leaders, or builder captains, we manage projects for our partners.
