Hidden Acres Therapeutic Riding Center is experiencing a rapid growth in population and would like to have a strategic plan in place to ensure success in our expansion.

What we have in place
  • We currently have short term goals, current standing, and long term vision., which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have our strengths and weaknesses, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $12,550 , allowing us to serve humanity through equine assisted therapies at low to no cost for participants from low income families.

Having a strategic plan will allow us to stay organized, goal focused, task oriented, and follow a plan to help ensure success in our organizations growth. Our executive director is on board and excited to start this strategic plan.

  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with outline detailing current standing, strengths, weaknesses and competition, mission statement and vision, and overview of current strategies

  • Professional analyzes prep materials
  • Professional brainstorms with Volunteer Manager to better understand services, programs, activities, staffing and finances
  • Professional explores possibilities for new efforts, identifies opportunities, determines where change is possible and adjusts plans

  • Professional refines the Organization’s mission, vision and values (if necessary)

Our mission

Our Mission...
We are dedicated to improving the minds, bodies, and spirits of children and adults with physical, developmental, and emotional challenges through the benefits of therapeutic riding and equine-assisted activities.

What we do

We provide therapeutic riding and equine-assisted activities to children and adults with physical, developmental and emotional challenges. We have a Program Director and a Clinical Program Director along with a team of staff and volunteers who work with our participants in various therapeutic activities. We served participants with over 25 medical diagnosis last year and continue to widen our scope of program offerings to reach more populations for whom this unique therapy would be beneficial.
