Project details

What we need
  • Well-written and compelling copy for marketing or communication materials; examples include a brochure, blog post, one-pager/fact sheet, fundraising/promotional materials
  • Messaging that is consistent with brand identity, public relations strategy and communications objectives
What we have in place
  • We currently have newly created web material, old brochure, and brand colors, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have examples of other such agencies, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to provide more services to the children and families in our care. More outreach and tangible goods we can provide to them in their time of need.

As a new agency we need to get the word out to clients that we exist. Having a brochure designed specifically for that audience can help our outreach and ability to help more families.

Our mission

Mission

Pinwheel Place will provide a safe place for children in crisis. We will provide residential care and coordinate medical and/or psychological services according to the needs of the child. We will service primarily children from birth to five years old.

What we do

Pinwheel Place will provide a safe haven for children in crisis. We will provide residential care and coordinate medical and psychological services according to the needs of the child. We will service children from birth to five years of age who are referred from local agencies or by their parents. Most groups working with those in crisis realize that the devastation resulting from these factors impacts individuals, families and often whole communities for generations. Food insecurity, homelessness, inability to access health services and threats of emotional trauma are moment to moment concerns. If we are to help children deal with these issues we need to know that any kind of development will not happen while you are still in crisis, so for any intervention to be effective it has to address safety and well being first. The children will come to us because they are not safe, so first and foremost we will be a crisis shelter for children at risk. A plan of service will be developed for both the child and the parents. We will work with local agencies to provide services for the parents so they can reduce the risk factors that could cause the abuse and neglect in the future. The children will stay as long as needed.
