Project details

What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
What we have in place
  • We currently have program numbers, testimonials and strategic plan, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have program leads, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to utilize the funding for additional staff development.

We are looking to develop a campaign to increase general operating support of our programs through the development. Without a dedicated staff for fun development, we would love the opportunity fora expert to help us define our story/case statement around supporting professional development of organizations that would create an easy "product" for our board members to pitch to local businesses and corporations.

Our mission

To build the capacity of nonprofits so they can make positive change in their communities.

What we do

The Nonprofit Partnership has a direct and profound impact on our community by ensuring thousands of nonprofit professionals, board members and volunteers receive the tools and resources they need to be successful and make their organizations thrive. We provide affordable access to high-quality services that are sorely needed by nonprofits today: programming and resources that focus on building the capacity of our local community organizations by promoting collaborative opportunities, enhanced resource development, networking opportunities, custom support services and year round educational seminars and workshops.

Since 1993, TNP has provided support to over 400 nonprofit organizations each year by helping to build their skills, strengthen their foundations, and enhance their ability to better serve their communities through education, human services, healthcare, hunger and homelessness, the arts and beyond. We serve community organizations in over 35 cities across Southern California with a focus on Long Beach, the South Bay and the Gateway Cities.
