What we'd like to talk about
I'd like to have consultation for a fundraising idea that involves marketing with local businesses. We need help with how to implement a campaign locally that was shared by our national organization.
"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.
Our mission
Our mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. We partner with parents/guardians, volunteers and others in the community, and hold ourselves accountable for each child in our program achieving higher aspirations, greater confidence and better relationships, while also avoiding risky behaviors and achieving educational success.
What we do
Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii creates life-changing friendships. We match youth in one-to-one friendships with mentors to encourage, model, and support good decisions and behaviors. This is because youth who have a positive adult influence in their life are better able to reach their fullest potential. Our mentoring programs help Hawaii's children and teens grow socially, emotionally, and academically by providing the tools to achieve success in life and hope for a brighter future.
