Logo Design & Visual Brand Identity
Logo Design & Visual Brand Identity
Project details
What we need
- Consultation regarding the Organization's current branding and desired branding objectives
- Visual branding guidelines / style guide that include specific colors, fonts, and other graphic design elements to use in print and digital communications materials
- High-resolution logo delivered electronically (in formats for digital and print use)
Additional details
We need branding and design collateral for our 2019 Welcome Walk, which is an event we hold every year to connect all the stakeholders in our community. We need a logo, website banner, tshirt, physical banner, and other graphics that can be used in social media and email marketing.
What we have in place
- We currently have past years' branding from this event as examples, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have messaging and theme unique to this year, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,817 , allowing us to increase the availability of literary resources to our students and their families.
In the midst of an organizational transition, we are hoping that completing this project with a skilled volunteer will enable us to have strong marketing and branding for the event without over-taxing our team. Part of our strategic plan is to go from the "best-kept secret to best-told story" in our region, and we know strong branding for the Welcome Walk will help us to accomplish that goal. We hope to have 300 or more individuals walk this year as well as secure several corporate sponsors.
Project plan
Our mission
At Global Village Project, our mission is to develop a strong educational foundation for each student within a caring community using a strengths-based approach and intensive instruction in English language and literacy, academic subjects, and the arts.
What we do
As a nonprofit middle school, GVP's full-day, tuition-free academic program serves refugee girls from all over the world. Our innovative educational model was designed specifically for refugee girls who have had their education interrupted and have recently been resettled in the U.S. Recognizing the inequities that exist in traditional educational settings for newcomer students, English Language Learners, and other marginalized groups, the GVP model was created as an intervention - a way of doing education differently. As a result, our model is unique in its approach to removing the barriers that refugee learners face and amplifying their voices as young leaders. We provide a three-year program, focused on English language literacy, core academic subjects, and the arts, in the context of a compassionate community and a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) framework. Our approach is intensive and highly individualized, emphasizing creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and confidence.
Testimonials
Dipta was very pleasant and expert in his design skills and provided strong guidance and perspective not only on what our design could be but also how we could utilize it. Even with drastically different time zones, Dipta worked to communicate with us. He worked very hard to understand our organization and the messaging that we wanted to portray through the visual brand of our event. We are very thankful for the whole-hearted effort that Dipta provided in this project, using his skills for a greater purpose and cause.
