Website Audit
Website Audit
Project details
What we need
- Feedback on the current website’s layout, user functionality, mobile-friendliness, visual design, content, and other key features
- Clear articulation of the Organization’s goals for the website
- Recommendations for improvements to help achieve the Organization’s desired goals
- Note: If you are looking for a more specific, in-depth audit of your website's design and usability, try our Website Usability Audit project
Additional details
Our organization is looking for someone who can help us dig deeper into our website organization and content to determine whether or not we are adequately messaging to donors, while still maintaining enough information for community members interested in our services. We want to begin cultivating more donors for the organiation and need to find a balance.
What we have in place
- We currently have website and Google analytics, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have Sendible for tracking Social Media (but not report creation), and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to preserve our org. general funds for our operations costs, and preserve monies as we work to create and establish a development team for our fundraising efforts.
As a non-profit, we are working towards building a greater donor base to help us diversify our funding streams. Currently, we are about 97% grant-funded. As part of our move towards diversification, we realize that our website does not speak to possible donors. Instead, it is very text-driven and geared more toward being "informational." We want to strike a balance--excite donors and have enough info for community members. Suggetions on narrative content, layout, arrangement, etc.are needed.
