What we need
  • Well-written and compelling copy for marketing or communication materials; examples include a brochure, blog post, one-pager/fact sheet, fundraising/promotional materials
  • Messaging that is consistent with brand identity, public relations strategy and communications objectives

I need critique of and copywriting for a short 3-4 page Letter of Interest I submit to Foundations for funding. I want feedback on clarity, messaging, goals stated. We are a small environmental non profit fighting to preserve environmental resources in a changed climate.

What we have in place
  • We have examples of recently submitted Letters of Intent. We also have website, Facebook, etc. and other materials that illustrate the work we do.

How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to do a lot. We are a small organization and that is over 1 month of salary for 2 staff people.

We rely on private donors and grants. A well written, vetted Letter of Intent will help us secure funding to address the environmental consequences of a large scale development along the Bay Area shoreline.

Our mission

Citizens for East Shore Parks (CESP) is an environmental non-profit working at the forefront to preserve open space and create parkland along the eastern shore of the San Francisco Bay. CESP was founded in 1985 to protect the shoreline from excessive development and protect and preserve open space and shoreline habitat and wildlife. We partner with communities, public officials, and organizations to advance sound shoreline environmental policies. We recently launched the Resilient Shoreline Program to address the effects of sea level rise in our communities.
