Website Visual Design
Project details
What we need
- A visual redo of the Organization's website
- Design direction based on Organization's desired branding and style preferences
- Mock-ups of key site pages
- Commitment to 2 phone calls with a developer to guide initial front-end coding work
- Note: We recommend this project for custom websites. If your site is built on a CMS platform like Wordpress or Squarespace that offers templates, you may not need this project. Check out our Website Content Plan project for help building a CMS-based website
What we have in place
- We currently have a wordpress website linked to a Go Daddy domain and mapped, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a techie who understands front/back end design and UI/UX, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $9,186 , allowing us to continue running programs. All of the operating fees for the organization are from Board contributions, so there hasn't been much available to help support needed operational tasks such as web design.
Our current strategic plan contains a task to either get a capacity-building grant to assist us in our web-design or finding a pro-bono opportunity to support the work. The Catchafire Chicago project is not only timely, but comes from philanthropic orgs that we trust (CCT and MacArthur). We think with a better website, it will help to legitimize our organization even more and further our reach especially since we are small.
