Project details

What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

We're looking to put together an "about the Alliance" video that also celebrates our 25th anniversary. We have gathered a large amount of "b-roll" footage, are collecting our interviews, and we're hoping to have the video by November 15th, in the lead up to our 25th anniversary virtual event. This footage is primarily iPhone footage, with a combination of handheld snippets and tripod interviews.

What we have in place
  • We currently have an understanding of our audience, and "b-roll" footage, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the ability to gather suggested footage, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to invest in on-the-ground conservation efforts. It will pay for more staff time to facilitate connections and cross-boundary projects on the landscape.

We've recently overhauled our website and a branding guide, and are continuing the process of creating good visual content for our nonprofit. Our goal is to inspire people about our vision: conserving the Altar Valley for future generations. This has become even more important as we're about to host our first virtual fundraiser, and want to have something great to share with long-time supporters and new supporters.

Project plan

P
Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product
1
Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback
2
Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)
3
Milestone 3: Final Video Delivery
  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format

Testimonials

Greg was great! He helped us put together a short video about our organization, and was able to put together the footage that we gathered to tell our story. He had ideas for footage that should be gathered and was very easy to brainstorm with both via email and the phone. Thanks, Greg!
