What we need
  • Training on how to create video content for web and specific social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
  • List of recommendations and best practices for shooting a video
  • Instructions for how to post videos to respective social media platforms
What we have in place
  • Our program coordinator for Little City Sprouts is looking to enhance her skills for video creation and editing.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to produce better content that is relevant to our programs and reach more people.

Her program is completely virtual and this will help to reach program and org goals. She has very little experience in preparing for, recording and editing videos.

  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss video objectives, target audience, and platform(s) for videos to be published
  • Volunteer Manager shares with Professional budget and time available for this project (if applicable)

Milestone 1: Training Plan Creation
  • Professional prepares a detailed training plan outlining topics to be covered and structure of training
  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback which Professional incorporates

Milestone 2: Video Shoot Training
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager how to record video(s)
  • Professional shares tips and best practices for creating videos - including necessary equipment, determining location/background settings, camera placement, etc.
  • Professional shares apps/tools that can be used to record videos

Milestone 3: Sharing Videos
  • Professional instructs Volunteer Manager how to post videos directly to each specified social media platform
  • Professional remains available for follow up questions for up to two weeks
