What we need
  • Up to 3 customized and professionally designed graphic(s)
Additional details

This project involves designing graphics for a library of school aged children reading, examining maps, looking at historical artifacts, with a teacher and within a classroom environment. The graphics will be used on a website, and in marketing material for the library.

What we have in place
  • We currently have graphics that we like that can be used as examples, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have our logo, brand identity guidelines, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to add new material to the library's collection and offer lectures.

The library is working on encouraging the study of history within school aged children. These graphics will help us with this effort.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager shares with Professional the intended platform(s) where graphics will be posted, ideas for copy, and images to include in the graphics (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the graphic, key audiences, and visual branding guidelines
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of graphics or memes they like with the Professional

Milestone 1: Preliminary Design
  • Professional drafts three graphics using different themes to share with the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary theme and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Graphic Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of graphic
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds of feedback

Milestone 3: Final Graphic Delivered
  • Professional delivers final version of the graphics and explains how to upload image(s) to the Organization’s chosen platform(s)

To identify, preserve, and provide access to Caribbean genealogy, history, and cultural heritage information resources for the Virgin Islands and the Caribbean, and to promote and encourage their use for family history documentation, education, and scholarship.

What we do

Caribbean Genealogy Library is a leading resource for family history research in the Virgin Islands and in the Caribbean. We provide services through the library's collection of books and historic records, workshops, lectures and a resource-rich website; allowing researchers of all levels to explore their past.
