Project details

What we need
  • Minor updates to Organization’s existing website (e.g. adding new copy and/or images, customizing styles/themes, basic layout revising, etc.)
  • Training for Organization staff on how to make minor updates going forward (if applicable)
Additional details

We are working toward revamping our organization's "Citizen Solution Center" at orgtransparency.com. It is a WordPress website meant to build civic engagement here in The Bahamas. Before the full overhaul of the site, I want to revise the layout of 2 pages and add an additional two basic forms.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a description of the specific changes needed, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a full time staff dedicated to the project, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,426 , allowing us to secure resources we need to establish more formal channels for our national leaders to connect with, respect and incorporate the needs of citizens.

Civic engagement and participation is becoming one of the most forefront causes for the Bahamian public. As we recover from the impacts of COVID and recent catastrophic hurricanes, we need to get more of our citizens engaged in the process of governance and progress.

Testimonials

Kimberly was stellar. She was absolutely splendid to work with. She helped us to take one of our organization's websites, which focused on building active citizenship, from the place where we were unable to share it publicly, to a fully functional hub of civic engagement. Kimberly and I ran into several issues, and our project which was slated for 2 weeks to 5. She didn't once complain and it was very clear to me that she was committed to get us to the point we committed to getting to. If there was anything I did not understand, she explained. If she had a suggestion to make a process better or smoother, she shared it respectfully with an implementation plan and alternatives. I think that Kimberly truly embodies the spirit of Catch-A-Fire and while our organization has a long way to go with our endeavors, because of her work, we are set to impact many lives for the better. We are truly grateful for her service.

Website Minor Update Project

It was a pleasure working with Org Transparency to create their membership website; in addition to updating the overall look and feel of their website. Steffon was very helpful, professional, and clear on Org Transparency's website needs, and changes that he would like made to their website.
