Website Copywriting
Website Copywriting
Project details
What we need
- Tightly-written web copy of up to to eight pages of 200-300 words each
- The opportunity to work closely with an experienced, SEO literate copywriter
Additional details
SJCA has changed mission direction and our website has not been updated in some time. We are in need of a copywriting refresh for many of our web pages including Membership, Events, Resources, Cultural Asset Mapping Project, and a few other sections of the site. I am not sure that SEO was ever considered when the current content was created, so it would be great to integrate that too.
What we have in place
- We currently have an active website with all content that needs "refreshing", which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have ideas and information to develop current content on the site, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,073 , allowing us to shift resources to community outreach and developing other resources for SJCA's digital information hub.
This project will help SJCA more clearly communicate our vision and engage with the South Jersey cultural community. As a staff of two, it is difficult to dedicate the time to copywriting, but it is so important to convey our story. We have shifted focus to becoming a digital hub of information and resources, so having a strong copy on the site is important, as is SEO.
Project plan
Our mission
SJCA's mission is to strengthen South Jersey's cultural community by connecting them to information, resources, and each other. SJCA envisions a region where individuals of all ages and backgrounds are engaged and enriched through arts, history, and culture, and where communities prosper through a creative economy.
What we do
SJCA extends membership benefits to all arts, culture, history, cultural community groups, and independent artists in each of the state's southern eight counties (Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean, and Salem). We are striving to represent the full spectrum of arts, culture, and history in our region and work towards a more equitable and inclusive South Jersey cultural community.
