What we need
  • 3-5 one hour calls with an events professional covering topics like concept, general structure, logistics, and target attendees
  • A written summary of topics discussed, including event concept and theme, general plan, estimated budget (optional), and articulated goals (feel free to use this template as a starting point)
  • Note: This project does not include on-site event coordination or support on the day of the event

Hidden Harvest was selected to partner with the LPGA Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational for their practice day at the Midland County Club. Attendees are not charged admission and we are awaiting a response from the LPGA to see if we can collect donations at the gate. We need help planning what we can do in our booth at the gate to be memorable for those passing through on their way to watch the golfers. Help us use this opportunity to further our mission to end food waste and reduce hunger!

What we have in place
  • We currently have the date of the event (as the LPGA schedule is posted), which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a great partner in the LPGA which will draw the crowd, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to rescue and distribute over 18,000 pounds of food that would have otherwise been wasted! Your support keeps good nutritious food out of the landfills and gets it to people in need, thank you!

This project gives us the opportunity to highlight our program to those attending the LPGA event. Getting the work of our mission in front of people in our community who may have never heard of us before will extend our reach and hopefully bolster our future fundraising efforts.

HIDDEN HARVEST strives to alleviate hunger and end food waste in the
Great Lakes Bay Region of Michigan by providing a safe and coordinated
system of rescuing surplus food and redistributing it to feed people in need.
