What we need
  • An easily understood visual aid that communicates complex information
  • A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format

We would like an infographic that can be used for funders, community partners and our website that can easily communicate the impact of our work.

What we have in place
  • We currently have brand and color guidelines for our organization, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have robust data available, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to refocus our funds back into the youth we serve.

This project will help us communicate our impact with our supporters in an accessible and quick way that doesn't take a lot of time out of their busy schedules. Having a good self explanatory graphic of our impact can help build trust in our services, which can ideally increase revenues over time.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the infographic, key audiences, and style preferences (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of infographics they like with the Professional
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with data or other source of information to draw from

Milestone 1: Preliminary Sketching
  • Professional develops three drafted concepts to share with the Organization
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary concept and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Graphic Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of Infographic
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds feedback

Milestone 3: Presentation of Deliverables
  • Professional delivers the final version of the Infographic including specifications for usage (colors, size, etc.)

Our mission

Fostering Promise is a Black-led, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2023. We are committed to advocating for youth-driven policies that ensure every young person who ages out of foster care has a safe place to call home, the hope for a promising future, and the support of a caring mentor.

We aim to eradicate homelessness among former foster youth by working collaboratively with foster youth, stakeholders, and local and state government officials. Our advocacy initiatives aim to champion policies and programs that empower these emerging adults to transition successfully into adulthood, while also addressing the underlying systemic issues that contribute to their homelessness.
