Project details
What we need
- A report summarizing key information from white papers or research reports (50 total pages maximum)
- Written qualitative analysis and findings related to the Organization's research goals
Additional details
We are in need of key information from recent (5-10 years) white papers/research reports summarized (50 pages max.) qualitative analysis and findings related to research goals about the effects of physical activity on children ages 6-18 years of age. Areas of research include academic achievement, youth sports, mental health, social-emotional learning, behavior, low-income, and effects of COVID19.
What we have in place
- We currently have annual reports, program information, and participation, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have immediate future plans we can share, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,888 , allowing us to enhance our current programming and provide current data/statistical information to use when talking with potential supporters and when writing grants.
We see first hand how a lack of physical activity affects a child's life in many areas. A current concern is how many children have effortlessly adapted to being sedentary due to COVID19.
We own a large warehouse building using only a portion of it for gymnastics and want to repurpose it into an indoor sports facility for kids and community to share. We need to see evidence of what this might add to the lives of our children and others. We just broke ground on an outdoor multi-use sports field.
Project plan
Our mission
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Deep East Texas serves children ages 6-18 throughout five rural counties with a mission "to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens."
